Every year, the Write-to-Publish conference provides high-level training and community for Christian writers.

This year for the first time, we’re hosting an exclusive pre-conference for Author Conservatory students so you can connect more with our instructors, learn from industry professionals, and attend our first-ever graduation ceremony!

Meet Our Pre-Conference Speakers

Tricia goyer

Tricia Goyer, a passionate writer fueled by her love for God, family, and community, has authored over 90 books, spanning accurate historical fiction and inspiring nonfiction on family and parenting. As a USA Today Best-selling Author, she boasts accolades such as two Carol Awards, a Retailer’s Best Award, an ECPA Silver Medallion, and a Christy Award nomination.

Nova McBee’s Calculated is currently in development to become a major motion picture. Emmy Award winning screenwriter, Ann Peacock, especially known for “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,’ will adapt Calculated for the screen.

Brett Harris

Brett Harris is the bestselling author of Do Hard Things and co-founder of the Young Writer’s Workshop and the Author Conservatory. He is a personal mentor and coach for many of the world’s top young writers and authors and his mission is to raise up the next C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

Kara swanson

Kara Swanson is the award-winning author of the Heirs of Neverland duology and co-founder of the Author Conservatory. She drinks too much coffee and loves soul-chats and belting Broadway songs as she drives.

Attend Our First-Ever Graduation Ceremony

Our first cohort of students will be graduating in June.

At our graduation ceremony, we’ll be recognizing their accomplishments along with the accomplishments of many of our other Year 1 and Year 2 students there.

We’d love to have you there as we recognize this significant accomplishment.

Day 2 – Monday, June 10

7:15 AM to 8:15 AM | Breakfast in the dining hall

9:00 AM | Morning Staff Panel – 90 min Q&A

11:45 AM to 1:00 PM | Lunch in the dining hall

1:00 PM | Afternoon Staff Panel – 90 min Q&A

3:00 PM | Free Time / Graduation Rehearsal

5:00 PM to 6:00 PM | Dinner in the dining hall

6:00 PM | Voices of the Future Volume Two Release Party

7:30 PM | Game Night in the Stupe

9:00 PM | End of Day & After-Hours Activities

Day 3 – Tuesday, June 11

6:00 PM | Write-to-Publish Conference Begins

Register before may 31st

The pre-conference price is $330 if you’re just attending the pre-conference, or $250 if you’re attending both the pre-conference and the main Write to Publish conference. You can use our coupon code, AC2024 to get $25 off your registration.

If you’re attending the pre-conference, do not sign up for the main conference on the regular Write-to-Publish site.

FAQ

Can Minor Students Attend?

Wheaton College requires that minors be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. So you’re welcome to come with a parent/guardian, but they will need to purchase a ticket as well in order to be with you throughout the whole event.

Can Family Members Attend the Graduation Ceremony?

Yes! Family members don’t need to pay in order to attend the graduation ceremony.

Is Tuesday Dinner Included in the Pre-Conference?

Yes! Even if you’re only attending for the pre-conference, Tuesday dinner is included.

Can the Cafeteria Accommodate Special Diets?

Yes, they label their meals as Vegan/vegetarian and gluten free and also have a list of the ingredients included in the meal.

What's the Dress Code?

Please wear business casual, in light of the professional nature of the conference.
