Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…

This third edition of Voices of the Future weaves together short stories of healing and home in a memorable and heartwarming collection. Experience the next generation’s creativity and vision through tales from rising young creatives.

Featuring Rhianna Ring-Howell

Rhianna Ring-Howell was diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety at seventeen, but somehow, she managed to complete over a dozen novels and novellas as a teenager and graduate high school with honors while in the Author Conservatory. Now she writes stories for young women who feel broken, incapable, or worthless, reminding them they are stronger than they’ve been told and more valuable than they know.

When not writing, she spends her time teaching kids Taekwondo, singing classical music onstage and Taylor Swift in the car, and searching for dragons to tame.

About Her Short Story

10-year-old Wynna Falke wants nothing more than to be grown up. But according to everyone around her, being grown up means she can’t believe in magic anymore. That includes the unicorns that used to visit when she was little. And after all the bullying from her classmates and scoldings from her father, she’s ready to give up her childish beliefs once and for all.

So, when her grandmother gets injured during a walk in the woods and needs Wynna to find help, she believes this is her chance to prove she is grown up. But as darkness creeps in, making it hard to find her way back, she may have to accept help from the magic she was told is for children.

Her Accomplishments
  • Completed three novels, ten novellas, and a short story.
