Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…
Featuring Lauren Thomae

Ever since she was thirteen, Lauren Thomae has been babysitting foster kids, and now with an adopted sister of her own, she knows the importance of giving kids hope for their own happy endings. She writes Middle Grade fairy tales with those kids in mind, crafting stories that remind them to keep chasing the light. When she’s not writing, she’s trying to grow her hair to Rapunzel lengths, making hundreds of cookies, or convincing her siblings to read just one more story.

About Her Short Story
Nibbles & Bytes by Lauren Thomae
Fresh out of college and new to town, Carson spends all of his time working. He knows that there’s more to life beyond his 9-5, but that’s hard to believe when your job takes up your entire life. Carson thinks he’s well on his way to a promotion, but when he stumbles upon a dirty black kitten in the parking lot, his life turns upside down.
With the help of his sweet neighbors he’s barely talked to, some cookies, and too much coffee, he’s sure that there’s got to be a way to balance life, a new kitten, and somehow still get that promotion, right?
