Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…

The ninth edition of Voices of the Future weaves together short stories of fellowship and freedom in a memorable and heartwarming collection. Experience the next generation’s creativity and vision through tales from rising young creatives.

Featuring Clive Farnsley

When he was thirteen, Clive Farnsley spent a year sketching Green Ember fanart in order to grab the attention of his author hero, S. D. Smith, and get advice on the novels he dreamt of publishing. Today, he brings that same dedication to crafting redemptive stories about hard-working people who give up everything in search of home and healing.

Apart from tending apple trees for a future orchard, he enjoys brewing espresso, pouring latte-art flowers, building the perfect bonfire, and drafting blueprints for a Prancing Pony in southern Indiana.

About His Short Story

The Christmas Postman by Clive Farnsley

As the royal postman, Oliver has faced the most dangerous monsters in the kingdom to faithfully deliver the mail on time—but he won’t dare face his fear of dogs. On Christmas Eve, he sets out to deliver a dinner invitation so his elderly neighbor may share Christmas with her family.

Encountering both monstrous and sophisticated residents of the kingdom, Oliver takes his journey too far before realizing that the invitation is addressed to a dog-trainer, and he must face an army of angry dogs to make the delivery on time and save Christmas.
