Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…

Featuring Alayna Niblack

Alayna Niblack has learned resilience in the face of change and found stories to be a place to call home due to her father’s military career. Her love for writing has stuck with her, and she endeavors to craft clean, exciting YA Fantasy that keeps readers turning pages. While she adores full-skirted gowns, ballroom dancing, and drawing, you can also find her attempting to ride cows and wading through streams.
About Her Short Story
Brielle has spent her life wanting to train pegasi but she hasn’t ridden since her accident five years ago. Now, the Star Tree is blooming, an event that occurs every five years on a nearby sky island accessible only by pegasus. If Brielle can get up the courage to go, then maybe she can pursue her cast-aside dreams.
Her best friend, Colter, helps her train to ride again. But can she overcome her fear? When she’s faced with a life-or-death situation, will she have the courage to do the very thing that got her injured the last time?
