Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…

Featuring Allie Hostetler

Allie’s dreams were born in a backyard. Under the trees and between the bushes, she created tales and acted out characters. Now, as a young adult, creating stories is what she wants to do for the rest of her life. Allie tells stories that give readers the courage to chase their wildest dreams. In her spare time, Allie can be found exploring nature, listening to music that inspires her new novel ideas, and collecting hard covers of her favorite books.

About Her Short Story
The Eve of New Beginnings
Amelia, a burnt out author, attends her best friend’s New Year’s Eve party, planning to only stay for thirty minutes. She tells herself she must get back to work to meet the deadlines she has put onto herself.
However, at the party that evening, with the encouragement of her best friend and a friendly stranger, Amelia feels conflicted. Will she continue to live a lifestyle that leaves her drained and empty? Or choose a life that makes time for memories and joy? And how would that type of decision affect her writing career? Amelia isn’t even sure if there’s such a thing as a healthy balance between her life and work.
Either way, Amelia will have to decide what her next steps are before the New Year rings in.
