Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…
Featuring Christina Pickett

Christina Pickett was homeschooled start to finish and discovered the magic of creative writing her last year of middle school. Writing high-stakes adventures and deep character relationships became a release for the stories inside her soul and a place to process feelings and questions she faced in the real world. Now, she writes for her middle and high school self, who devoured novels that thrust her into new worlds and inspired her to live a life of greatness.

About Her Short Story
Not the Girl In the Mirror by Christina Pickett
Becoming a performer in the legendary Circus Soñando has been Kate’s dream since she was a child. Now, at eighteen, she finally has her chance. Nailing the audition–after her best friend Elora has already won a spot–is Kate’s only shot at the life she’s always wanted.
But the audition isn’t her only challenge. Kate must face the illusions of the Mirage Maze, a labyrinth of mirrors that expose her deepest doubts. If she can’t overcome what the mirrors reveal, she will never earn a place in the circus beside her best friend.
