Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…

The fourth edition of Voices of the Future weaves together short stories of adventure and imagination in a memorable and heartwarming collection. Experience the next generation’s creativity and vision through these brief tales from rising young creatives.

Featuring Joseph Brink

Growing up, Joseph Brink steered clear of scary stories. Now he writes delightfully scary stories that give kids courage to face the frightening things in their own lives, intentionally weaving in threads of light, beauty, and hope. When he’s not writing, brainstorming a new story, or reading 100-year-old horror novels and books about cryptids, Joseph loves spending time with his kid siblings, reading aloud to them, and sharing his favourite books.

About His Short Story

Twelve-year-old Timmy’s last time babysitting his sister Milo was a total disaster.

Now he’s in charge of her for another evening and is determined not to let anything go wrong. He won’t let Milo be hurt again.

But the weird old house they’ve recently moved into—and whatever’s lurking inside its walls—seem to have other ideas …
