Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…
Featuring Julia Naus
Julia Naus can’t go five minutes in a crowd without making a new friend. After spending her teenage years as the odd one out, she endeavors to give everyone a place to belong. She writes fantasy stories that give readers the courage to find their place in the world—stories of found family that make fictional worlds feel like home. On a regular day she can be found drinking her fourth cup of coffee, wrangling her four siblings, and obsessively training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
About Her Short Story
Moon’s home is falling apart. The ghosts that fill the magical mansion were once her friends, but something has turned them violent. They scatter books, tear up flower beds, and threaten to destroy everything she loves. As her belongings begin to disappear and her family forgets her, the little girl takes matters into her own hands.
She sets out to get rid of the ghosts before they can erase her entire existence, combing every nook and cranny for the source of their rage. Her search leads back to the family who built the house a century earlier and the tragedy that has plagued it ever since. But the source of the ghosts is much closer than Moon suspects. If she isn’t ready to face the truth, and soon, the very home she loves so much will be torn apart.
