My Space Frog Adventure by Kirsten L. Pierce
Katherine has always enjoyed hearing her father’s stories about other worlds. But after getting lost for days on her first solo flight, and forcing her father to take time off work to find her, she’s scared to travel to new places alone. However, when Katherine discovers a talking frog has slipped into one of her father’s cargo boxes, she realizes that it needs to be returned to its home planet, Phibia, in 24 hours, or it will lose its ability to speak. With no one else available, Katherine must chart out a course on her own to a strange world and get the frog, and herself, back home in one piece.
