Discover the Next Generation of Christian Storytellers…

Featuring Marielle Henning

Marielle Henning has a deep passion for encouraging people to get back up and try again—no matter what life has dealt them. She writes stories of found family, laughter, and delinquents with shaky pasts learning to own their mistakes and face the future with hope. When not doing battle with her hard-headed characters, you can find her taking her favourite train route into London, cuddling as many dogs as possible, or trying to convince her friends and family that, despite appearances, she’s not moving to America. Really.
About Her Short Story
All Teddy wants is to be rehomed with a child who will be around, wear cuddly hoodies, and give good hugs. But when his new girl goes missing, and her sassy bed-monster demands Teddy go find her, the stuffed bear is faced with a dilemma that is far from the cosy home he was hoping for.
Does he go outside, braving poodles, foxes, and thundering cars? Or does he choose the safe option and look for a new home—again?
