The Next Lewis & Tolkien
Our mission is to raise up the next C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. These beloved authors combined the highest levels of artistic excellence with a strong Christian faith and broad cultural appeal.
As a student in the Author Conservatory you will be poured into by faculty who care about your soul, not just your sales numbers. We want to equip you to write stories that impact culture, whether those stories are explicitly Christian or not.

We believe in a Creator who deeply cares for every person. Our goal is to love like Jesus, and be a place where all feel welcome and respected.
As such, we welcome any student, regardless of whether they come from our faith tradition or not. Students do not need to be a Christian in order to thrive in this program.

Our instructors adhere to the Apostles’ Creed and hold to the core tenets of the orthodox Christian faith.
We are not a church and don’t hold chapel services or attempt to dictate theology to our students.
We care about your soul and hope and pray you will experience the love of Christ through your time with us.

Study under Christian Professionals
Navigating the publishing world with integrity and wisdom may feel intimidating. That’s why we equip students through mentorship from Christian professionals who have worked in this field for years.
All instructors and coaches come from Christian traditions and often talk with students about how they integrate their faith with their writing and entrepreneurship. Our goal is for graduates to feel equipped to live out their faith with integrity as they navigate the publishing landscape.
We do not seek to fill or replace the role of pastors and church leaders in a student’s life.
Character Development through Mentorship
In addition to equipping students to live out their faith with wisdom, we believe in helping them grow holistically through mentorship and personal support.
By prioritizing personal relationships between faculty and students, we provide students with a safe place to wrestle through hard questions and make their beliefs their own.
