Biography
Christy and Carol Award-winning author, Joanne Bischof DeWitt writes deeply layered fiction that tugs at the reader’s heartstrings. Her historical romance, The Lady and the Lionheart, received an extraordinary 5 Star TOP PICK! from Romantic Times Book Reviews and was the very first independent novel to win a Christy Award. It has also recently taken to the stage. Her 2021 release, The Gold in These Hills (HarperCollins), delves deep into the heart of a legendary ghost town. She’s recently signed a 3-book contract with Tyndale House Publishers, of Jane Austen retellings set in Appalachia. The first novel will release in the fall of 2025.
