Last night, Author Conservatory graduate Hope Jian won the 2024 Realm Award for Best Novella for her work, “Shattered Echoes.”
The Realm Awards are awarded annually to recognize the most excellent speculative fiction written by Christian authors published in the previous calendar year.
“Shattered Echoes” tells the story of Cole Rainer, a boy who just wants to get his missing father back and restore his broken family.
When he hears his father’s voice coming through a magical portal, Cole will be faced with a dilemma of protecting his family from an unstable world or going through the portal to find his father.
“Shattered Echoes” was originally published in the Author Conservatory’s Voices of the Future: Volume One anthology.
Another Conservatory graduate in the anthology, Abi Lyn Voss, was a finalist in the Short Story category for her work, “The Little Tire Shop.”
We’re so proud of both Hope and Abi, and what they’ve accomplished with their writing!
