Summer Promotion: Job Placement from The Author Conservatory Professionals

Jun 25, 2026 | Program Updates

Many students tell us that the one thing stopping them from joining The Author Conservatory is the funds. That’s why for the second summer in a row, we are bringing back a special offer to help them do so.

In Year Three of The Author Conservatory, our students take a job placement training course, taught by career coach Chad Kopitzke. We’ve seen this course make a massive impact among students.

So for a short time, we’re opening up the Job Placement course up to prospective students before they join The Author Conservatory—that way, they can start making money now and unlock a path to afford our program.

What is the Job Placement course?

Students who take this course walk away with essential business skills, such as:

  • Finding the right jobs for their skillset and interests
  • Standing out professionally to potential employers
  • Presenting yourself to prospective employers in a compelling way, even as the job market shifts due to AI
  • Navigating job search tools to find jobs they actually love, rather than tolerate

Additionally, Job Placement course students receive personalized follow-ups after classes to ensure they are actually implementing what they’ve learned. They’ll also walk away with a professional cover letter and resume to take with them to job interviews.

How to join the Job Placement course

We’re opening up the Job Placement course to prospective students so that they can land a job and start saving money now—that way they can actually afford to join The Author Conservatory.

Here’s how our offer works:

  • Enroll in The Author Conservatory and start by going through our Job Placement course from August 3 – September 25.
  • Choose an Author Conservatory start date anytime between now and August 2027.
  • If you haven’t secured a part-time job by March 1, 2027 or when you start The Author Conservatory (whichever comes first), you can drop out with a full refund.*

Students have until July 17 to apply for the program and commit to an Author Conservatory start date on July 31.

We want to show students that it’s not only possible but a lot easier than they might think to find a job and start saving.

*Students must complete the course and submit 20 well-targeted applications to qualify for the refund.

What to expect once you enroll

At The Author Conservatory, we specialize in a hands-on and feedback-centered approach to learning. That’s why our Job Placement course is more than a content library of pre-recorded videos.

Students also have access to:

  • Personal mentorship and strategy from instructor Chad Kopitzke
  • Live Zoom calls with classmates and instructors
  • Follow-up sessions after the course ends to ensure students are implementing what they’ve learned

We want to equip prospective students to afford The Author Conservatory. And we firmly believe that this kind of personal mentorship will allow them to land jobs and earn more money than they otherwise could this year.

The great news is that there is zero financial risk. If you join the Job Placement course and can’t land a job, we will let you drop out of your Author Conservatory commitment with a full refund.

Students have until July 17 to apply for the program and commit to an Author Conservatory start date on July 31.
