The Author Conservatory is searching for writers who are passionate about creating stories that feel like classic tales written by C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien. Books that, at their core, are about showcasing truth and light amidst a backdrop of adventure.
These writers want to use their words to fight against darkness and transform the lives of their readers. They might be a college kid writing a literary romance or a high school freshman building a fantastical world.
It’s possible for these aspiring authors to make their dreams a reality, but they’re likely missing a key factor: the steps it takes to get there.

The Next C.S. Lewis Fellowship
For the second year in a row, The Author Conservatory is uniting with The Young Writer’s Workshop and The C.S. Lewis Foundation to provide a transformative five-week mentorship program designed to discover the world’s next great novelists.
The Fellowship will again be led by bestselling author Brett Harris and The Author Conservatory team. Students have access to:
- Live coaching from leaders in the writing and publishing industry
- Access to The Author Conservatory’s most valuable training
- Opportunities to apply for over $100,000 in scholarships
- The roadmap to turn their writing dreams into published realities
Most students would have to participate in The Author Conservatory to receive the level of training we’re offering in the fellowship. Except it’s totally free!
